| What is there to say? I bought my first paintball marker off of the internet at the 'Midwest Paintball Warehouse.' It was an SL-68II, and I still have her. Ten years later, here I am, having just bought my first semi-auto (my M98C+). I was a pump purist for a while - but I play too aggressively to limit myself in that way. I play scenario and woodsball primarily - and jump on the SUP AIR fields with my pumper or my Tippy and break the mold every so often. I love the game for many reasons, the foremost of these being the team centralized environment that -can- exist. The thrill is in the chase, of course. ;) A close second is in the challenge every time I step onto the field - the challenge to support my team, and the challenge to overcome the opposition in so doing. It's never the same, so no matter how well (or poorly) I do one day has no bearing on the next. I like that freedom, but I also like that mandate; it is another thing that I can use to refine myself through my interactions with others and my own attention to detail and sincere effort. It's a great game, but unlike most games - it offers a lot more than just fun factor. |
