same here, especially on caompain spending, the democratic party spent as much as a Formula 1 team would spend on Cars and research.
This is how i see it, being the way that Barack Obama won the presidential election.
First of all he started extremely early, getting a head start on newly inaugurated voters.
Secondly, He is one of the most amazing public speakers i have ever listened to. Literally i wanted to believe everything that came out of his mouth because he speaks with such authoritativeness and decisiveness that people overlook the substance of which he is speaking about and the focus on the way he delivers his words.
Thirdly, he is an extremely likable guy (which goes into my fourth point) which allows voters to connect with him easier.
and Lastly, he is a celebrity. The media loved this man because he was an african american candidate and pronounced the vague concept of CHANGE. what is exactly what people are going to be left with after the tax increase. people voted for the person, not his politics. They were blinded by his image and words that they never really investigated in what he was planning to do.
I have gone over the political debates and his speaches and this is all the change that i could find
1. Higher taxes
2. Shutting down of coal plants (OMG he even actually won ohio after saying this to their faces :O)
3. Socialism
4. No Foreign policy
5. Universal health care (Canadiansniper probably could tell his moms story better than i can)
6. take from rich and give to the poor
All i can say is wow, and im extremely dissapointed on what america has voted for
all i can do is hope he is not the man i predict he is going to be
