Yeah, I second the comical aspect that they added to the show, but it was still pretty cool. I liked the sniper shot they took on the enemy snipers. It got me that they actually showed the coorect way to take on another sniper. Pretty cool. It was funny to me also my wife asked me if the head shot was what I talk about as pink mist. Also to see them move on after the hip shot knowing that the guy was going to die. The show also had some cool aspects also that were close to as real, like. When a Unit gets really close to each other and they talk shit about each other with any worry of a fight , just to jive the other or make the other laugh, also talking shit while engageing the enemy. The points that reflected the camera men. The first guy that came with my unit was how should I say this a girl( the " p " version of a man ) this guy cry every time we got shot at. We almost took him out. The second guy we had was a honarbly discharged Cpl. Marine so when we moved he was picking up gear and guns to take them out, alongside of us. Great guy worked for the La Times. i also belive the footage that they showed hoe the reaction from the reporters was. Just buying gear praying that it was strong enough to keep them alive. Running around with no traning trying to follow by the rules that they were given and praying for life.

I got extremely annoyed with that kid in the back manning the m249. IMHO he is very ignorant and is wearing the uniform for the wrong reasons. And what's up with the unit taking a dump in the backyard of civilians? How accurate is that? It's a very interesting series, I'm very curious how it all is going to work out.

Accurate as hell...for real, it is, that’s how an Infantry unit is. There was a few of the real life guys there and a few of use got to talked with them and we joked about a few of the things. It’s accurate and funny as hell to me because it’s true, A LOT of things I may fine funny because........

and there are people who join up just to get a "kill". As far as taking a dump in a backyard, well on patrol We had to stop and one of my marines went into a bush in a back yard and went...there are canals full of dump all over, I had the same marine twice fall in one, I fell in a Canal, thank god it did not have dump.....you talking about taking a dump in a backyard, what about kicking people out of their house anywhere from 1 to 180 days, we pay them of course, to use their house as a Patrol ¬­base­¬.
