Yeti you could always go with a top folding stock. I'll post pics of mine tommorrow.

The legal length of shotguns and rifles is 26" overall length (fixed).
The legal lengths for rifle barrels is 16" and shotgun barrels are 18".

If you add a folding/collapsible stock the overall length is measured from the collapsed/folding position.
