get the Saiga 12, you will not regret it.

its built off of a CV47 body and is mag fed. no pistol grip so its still legal.

Heyyy, killer.

I really like the Mossberg line of shotguns, and by the looks of it you aren't going to buy this baby because you want to shoot clay pidgeons.

Personally, I have a Mossberg 590 Special Purpose and love it to death. I got the Knoxx recoil-dampening, telescoping stock to go with it, side-saddle shotshell holder, and am getting an RIS fore-end so I can realize my Surefire pressure switch fantasies. XD

Interestingly enough, the civillian legal 590 has a bayonet lug...

Anyway, for a versatile package, I would advise you away from the cruiser modle that you have there. First and foremost, after 7 or so rounds, you are going to hate yourself for breaking your wrist with recoil (unless you are going to buy 2 3/4" shotshells or smaller). Second, you are limiting your magazine when you go with a small barrel like that. You should be able to hold in the neighborhood of four or five 3" shells in that baby, but my 590 gives me seven 3" shells, and nine 2 3/4" shells.

Practicing the ruidiments of tactical movement in a no-BS situation should allow you to work your way around a longer weapon, and .00 buckshot will go right through dry-wall. ^^ Sometimes 'thinking through' your situation will overtake superior equipment and the employment thereof. After all, there is very little 'cover' in the average home and or appartment. Concealment, yes. But cover?

As long as the overall length is 26 inches with the stock folded you're good, but it looks shorter that 26 inches.

The pistol grip may be questionable with CA gun laws too....

Speak softly, but forget the big stick. Carry a belt-fed weapon.
