Dont get me started on the Mac commercials. However the only things that I dont like about the Apple products themselves is the one button mouse on the Macs, the funky colors that they come in, and the entirely crazy operating system(if I want to print something it should be right there). Other than that I have no problems with the products. I do however hate the smug, save the earth, we're so much better than you users. They are up there with Hybrid car drivers, people that eat all natural foods, and people that perfer to read books in their liesure time and think they are better then me. I also dispise the Apple stores. First the minimalistic design, layout, and colors make me feel like I am at the local Social Security Administration office(if you have ever been there you know what I mean). Second I think they got all of their employees from Trader Joes in that they treat me like I am a better person for being there and that I have seen "the light". Third the fact that they will sell you technology that will be outdated next week. They know it because they already got the shipment of the new version in the back store room but still want to milk the old version for all it's worth. Screw that.

Anyways I will end my rant here because I could go on all day about my hatred for this, the Blue Man Group, grown men reading Harry Potter, and people that like a band until it gets poplular and then claim that they sold out because more than just a tiny group of fans likes them.

On topic I have heard that they are working out the kinks of Google Chrome and within the next 6 months it should be good.

they're the WORST! plus all that I've encountered have their liitle macbooks. No doubt Apple makes some good stuff, but some of the people they attract

Yeti, you forgot people that equate fellow Americans to Nazis and celebrities that think their "station" means you have to do what they tell you as if you're a child and can't make an informed decision on your own.
It doesn't take three fingers to press one button, so I can't imagine why Apple still does that other than to be different. The price needs to come down for me to look at a Mac. The UI is too stylistic and like you said not very efficient, even if it is easy to use. But neither Windows nor OSX give you the freedom or performance of Linux. Take a look at Dell's new netbook running Ubuntu Remix. Windows XP or Vista couldn't run on such meager hardware and look so good at the same time. Apple wouldn't allow OSX to run on it because it doesn't run on anything but Apple hardware.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying the dell netbook is right for you. Just using it as an example. Also it is not the only Linux UI it is 1 of 100+. And it runs on just about all architectures, including what you are using to view this. So don't install it on your computer! Linux is underground and it's mine! no0b! Oh wait....

you are right i am absolutely a Microsoft fanboy, bcz i have never hada problem with them, ever. Ive had a trojan horse before which i got rid of with my Norton Anti virus. I am also a persistant gamer who needs his supply of fps daily. Ive only had the blue screen of death once and it was my own fault, not microsofts. The only reason Mac doesnt have that many viruses is that it hasnt been around nearly long enouigh to acquire any, also windows still controls 90% of the market.

to the ppl who bootcamp their cpu, guess what, your running windows so that defeats the purpose of the mac. I do have some pet peaves on them to like: 1 button mouse (stupidest idea ever), monitor and Pc together, how macs are so boring and they only supply three ­style­s, the Dock menu (who wants a toolbar that disappears constantly dissappears and when you exit a program and it is still running. LOOK FOR THE TINY CIRCLE UNDER IT), and how i cant drag and drop files onto my desktop because it only makes shortcuts to the CD. Also i severely hate the Mac commercials who want to push that their product is hip and thus better. Lastly, i do not Mac fanboys who can only come up with that their cpu is better because it has i-life and i-chat and a built in camera. they should have a program called i-suck which explains why they made a horrible purchase.
