Zulu, thats good to know, and I guess its not so bad in comparison to other large events. I guess Im just saddened that they let themselves get carried into the whole sensation of it. They had an awesome turnout last year for a good price, no reason they couldnt do it again, regardless of the "everyone else is doing it" mentality.

Just as an fyi, these prices are in line and in some cases cheaper than games of this magnitude/caliber across the country. In some places in the midwest and northeast paint is as much as 80-100 dollars a case. I know it's not BYOP like last year, but it's pretty much on par with:

DDay
Tippmann World Challenge
Camp Blanding (one of the premier MOUT facilities stateside from what I've read)
Viper Scenarios
Wayne Dollack large scenarios
Invasion of Normandy

Look any of these up and you'll see that it's pretty much status quo.

yea its more expensive in the East coast to play paintball....but have we forgotten the difference when it comes to living between California and the East coast?????

** oh and on another note....keep a watch out for anybody trying to bag on Mario....its not his job to place these prices....hes doing everything possible im sure to keep the prices as low as possible and going with what his boss tells him.....

thanks for your hard work bro!!. **

Ya, that's a pretty shallow statement....

Is that at my statement or the PB4All character?

I've had nothing but poor confrontations with people with lots of money in SoCal and feel my statement is justified given some situations I've sat through while living here, while it is not the case for everyone, I will continue to use the sweeping generalization that it holds true to most.

No Mike, I was commenting to the statement from PB4ALL...

got clarification...makes sense.

It's my understanding that last years event made nearly no profit what-so-ever. The BYOP idea was to drum up aticipation and get more people there. This year they wanted to make a profit on the game so the people setting it up are not working on their own dime. Think of last years game as an introductory offer...
