This place as around 20 fields. If I show up and want to play how do you decide what field you would play on? Do you get a choice? The fields out in arizona are like ok lets go and its a mystery where we play.

On the average weekend there is 800+ walk-ons at SC. The refs do a round robin type deal taking their group to random fields... It's impossible to play every field in just one day... I don't believe the groups have much say in which field they are going to play... I'm sure the refs will try to accommodate, but with so many people it's difficult.

Bengal could probably elaborate much better and accurately than I due to him being a manager for Giant Paintball....

Viper is spot on. I've played there coutless times and each time the number of fields seems to grow. They used to take groups to speedball fields but that didnt go over well with the majority of the players so they stopped. The speedball fields are now like pickup basketball games with one ref in charge of all of them making sure that things dont spiral out of control. The group can request a field and maybe they will get it a couple of games later. Other than that it's really whats availible.

What Viper and Yeti said is spot on. The refs try to accommodate and get to the fields players want to go to the most but it just depends on how many people show up that day.
