This game has nothing to do with scenario paintball except for who it is marketed to.
10 min games: In a scenario it can take 10 minutes to go 5 feet while sneaking around in the woods. This is a ridiculous attempt to try to fit more games in.
Points: This one really irks me. Why would raising your flag(25) be worth less points than shooting an opponent(50) and eliminating all players(100). This sounds like a speedball game to me. In scenario paintball the goal of the game is to complete missions. In this game raising your flag is each teams mission and there fore should be worth the most points. Shooting people does not matter in scenario play. You don’t get points for it. Rather shooting is a tool that is used to complete the mission. However a team doest have to shoot a single person to complete their mission of they are good. This puts emphasis on the wrong aspects of play.
No special weapons(rockets, grenades, etc): And this just became a speedball tournament. These are all staples of a scenario players equipment. Saying:” We Want To Make This About You, Your Maker And Your Skill" is ridiculous. Knowing how to use those pieces of equipment are part of a scenario players skill. This is one of the many things that sets us apart from other forms of paintball. Limitation of these items is understandable. However, by not allowing them at all just evens the playing field for non-scenario players.
Field type and size: By looking at the pictures the field does not look that big and uses only pallets as cover. Unless the field is larger than 2 acres this is a speedball field.
I am not sure as to why the name scenario is even mentioned in this format of a tournament. It seems like another attempt to capitalize on the scenario market. Just slap the word "scenario" on it and the under-marketed to scenario players will come. We are not stupid people please don’t assume that we are.

"Out of every 100 men, 10 should not be there, 80 are nothing but targets, and 9 are the real fighters and we are blessed to have them, for they the battle make. Ah, but one, ONE of them is a warrior, and he will bring the others home..." -Heraclitus 500BC.

I agree with everyone else this sounds more like a speedball game.
This is what they have listed as the site for the event.
Q. What Paintball Park Are You Using? A. As Of This Moment We Are Having Our First Event At A Brand New Park Located In Agua Dulce, California, Off The 14 Fwy 45 Minutes From Los Angeles, But Like All Things Nothing Is 100% Until It Happens, So We Will Update This Page If Any Changes Take Place.

Aqua Dulce is right up the street from me.... maybe I'll take a drive up to the park once they confirm.

Speak softly, but forget the big stick. Carry a belt-fed weapon.

This is just a straight up woodsball game, nothing to do with Scenario. I wish more people would make that distinction.
Seems okay, but PSP mode and No full auto? You're marketing to a crowd that mostly uses Tippmanns and such, and E-gripped Tippmanns don't have PSP mode.
