I have always wanted to do something like this, just never know it was practical until GONZO showed off his a5.

Ok, here is the 99.5% plastic made in china airsoft spring rifle full scale of the M14 socom of US Army. I'm having fun with it, even though not as much as pb marker.

I'm planning to hack up the body, reuse the stock to put in a ... idk, haven't decided yet and that's the question poll for this thread. The goal is building a semi rifle with tac-cap hopper, so cyclone or halo rip is a must. Should i use a5, 98c or bt-4 as the base ?

Thank you for all opinion, thread will be up to date with pics.

Once you finish that will be a great looking project. I think the A-5 will be a great base especially with the tac-cap

ummm well if your planning on using this as a sniping gun, i would recommend using the 20 inch barrel although that seems really too big. I would use a 14 or something. Only reason is the flatline is a bit picky on the paint and sometimes you have to use field paint. If you want the same flatline affect then buy a lapco bigshot w/ an apex tip.

It'll be alot of work with any of those markers, but I think your best bet would be with the A5.
