Tips for Paintballers |

If you can’t see what is going on from where you are you do not want to be there, move.
Always look behind you occasionally. I once followed a player 3/4 of the way across a field and he never looked behind him once until just before the end. |

Camouflage in Paintball |
Sunday, 02 September 2007 |

This is my first article for Orange County Mobile Infantry and although I am the tactics reporter I thought I would start off writing about one of the most commonly made mistakes (yes even the vet's do it) in the game of paintball. |

Outlaw Paintball |
Sunday, 02 September 2007 |

Outlaw Paintball, is simply that, Paintball in non-designated areas. That means like your backyard or your neighbor’s forest, anywhere you can paintball, that doesn’t belong to a Paintball Corporation or Business is considered outlaw paintball. Some Outlaw Paintball is illegal, but most is completely legal. Outlaw Paintball is by far my FAVORITE type of paintball available, the course and boundaries can be miles wide and long making the game extremely intense and exciting, not knowing where the enemy is at any given time he can launch off a barrage at you. It simply represents combat in the best way possible, with infinite possibilities. |

Positions Series: No.6 Hammer: Mobile Heavy Gunner |
Sunday, 02 September 2007 |

Okay the Hammer is not a NEEDED part of any team, but after playing with one you'll be out there finding someone that wants to play it. A Hammer is an excellent way to lay down LOADS and TONS of paint on a specific area, not target, AREA this baby can spray and still get kills, and his awesome gun is amazing. |

Positions Series: No.5 Broadsword: Heavy Infantry |
Sunday, 02 September 2007 |

Okay now the Broadsword is a fun position to play, basically you’re a Sabre with a bigger gun. Now in the following lists my views of a Broadsword are a little different than Team Spec-Ops. So just be ready. Team Spec-Ops uses Broadswords for suppression and defensive play. Not me. Broadswords are good on defense I’ll say that, but the thing that I do with Broadswords is put them up with the main action, there they can lend the use of their far-reaching and fast shooting gun. |
