 I recently purchased a LAPCO BigShot 8" barrel. The whole reason for this purchase was to set up my A-5 for some serious CQB, seeing that the field we were going to have our next scenario game at was loaded with tons of new buildings. Figuring that the 8" barrel would not be too useful (meaning accurate) at ranges greater than 20 or so feet I had a longer barrel on stand-by.
Needless to say I was extremely impressed with the performance... even at standard barrel ranges. I was hitting targets at 30+" with decent accuracy... and that was also with using the dimpled crap paint we had at the scenario. I can only imagine what the performance would be like with real Premium paint.
I give the LAPCO 8" BigShot Barrel a 8 out of 10, due to the slightly limited range. But the overall performance gets an A+....
